if Mancini ends up going 3 at the back again today surely the most balanced back 3 would be Toure-Kompany-Lescott

As I said earlier, in pre-season we played Kolo....Vince.....Zab a couple of times so they are more used to it.

If Kolarov plats from the start then i think dzeko should to just becouse kolos crosses. But i rather se Clichy in the starting 11 :(

3-4-1-2 should be interesting against Sterling, Suarez, and Borini. I hope Kolo is up for it or we are going to see Suarez get his customary 15 chances and he may even out one of the in the back of the net.

i am thinking we might try and make zabaleta man-mark suarez, and kolo should be better at marking speedy, tricky attackers. lescott is often troubled by those. but i just dont know if kolo is good enough anymore.

Well I am not sure whether this is tactical or whether it is because Clichy is missing. Whatever the reason we will find out soon enough whether this formation works against tough opposition. IMO he doesn't trust Kolorov as a pure left back in a flat back four. (waits to find out we are playing 4231).
