Living in the UK advice.

I know what you mean.
When I lived in the UK I'd get depressed every October when the clocks went back.
I think they call it SADS.
Were all different, some people would hate the tropical weather where I live.

My mates an uber driver in an ev.
He works 70 hours a week but makes really good money.
He reckons the fares over there are higher so he could make more.
70 hours a week! That’s not living!
I did Uber for about 3 months, 4 days a week 10 hours each day, usually 6pm to 4am so avoided all the rush hour shite. Money was great but the amount of mileage I was putting on the car (decrease in value) and associated costs (servicing and minor repairs) made me think twice and in the end I decided not to continue.

abject poverty interspersed with a bunch of comfortably off cunts treating it like an urban playground pretending to be down and dirty and joining in with the edginess when they have a credit card as an escape route.

Find me a city, anywhere in the world, where someone couldn’t level that accusation based on their own perspective. You don’t like cities, I get it and that’s fine.

I am leveling this at Manchester, as stated both Newcastle and Liverpool are a better experience.

Let me summarise, Manchester is a cess pit, it's a dump for the reasons I have given.

It’s all about perspective. I live in a beautiful part of the UK, have a job I truly love and can afford to eat in and stay at nice places so I think it’s a great place to live, in the main.

Realise that makes me very fortunate, but that’s my lived experience.

I’m sure I’d feel the same about pretty much anywhere in the world if I had the same broad lifestyle.

I think the weather is key to this question. It very rarely bothers me, and think it has manifest advantages, but I know it affects others far more negatively.
Yes Shakespeares County is amazing......loved living in that area

Liverpool? funny ...made me laugh anyway

Its lovely where I live but yeah plenty of areas are turning to shit.

I love Manchester me. Everything on your doorstop. City especially.

Just ignore the scrotes and have plenty of security and weapons.

:)

There are certainly plenty of weapons in Manchester mate.

On my way from Piccadilly to Victoria all I see is a place that is trying to be new york, all graffiti and posh cunts in scruffy cardigans.

Bring out your fucking dead.
