Most of us live from payday to payday regardless of what class or social strata you are.
I read an article which said the vast majority of people in this country are financially finished
if they didn't work for approximately 60 days.
The majority of us in GB spend what we earn. In Switzerland, on average each person saves circa 40%
of their disposable income.
The difference in mindset & culture is scary!
I normally save on average 25% of my monthly income but I work manual labour and the idea of injuring myself and struggling by never has appealed to me so I always make sure I could be comfortable. Im very aware that if I eventually do the baby thing that will be wiped out before I have even see its little face and for the following 20 years after.
Unfortunately for a fair few people living pay cheque to pay cheque isn't a life of frugal spending but a life of struggling by. Japan has it right in terms of pay this country along with the wild west of the US has got it all wrong
