Liz Truss

I can't even repeat what my Tory voting Aunt (we've always suspected she was adopted, lol) said today. Needless to say her incredulity, vehemence and hatred of this Tory shower knows no bounds at this current time.
My phone almost sizzled with the message she sent
Come the crossing of the ballot paper ...when she’s in that booth... and nobody can see....and only she knows...

Because they don't know what to do with her. That's it really.

In the fucking bin. They all know what to do with her but they are frozen with fucking fear about doing it.

Going forwards we have to introduce legislation that gives us, the public some sort of recourse over politicians and governments that act like this lot have done.

That’s democracy. What we have now is not democracy.

Ye could probably do with a recall mechanism tbf.

I might get stick for this but I’ll say it…

I think in situations this extreme, where they’ve fucked it that bad, there’s no longer a cabinet that reflects those that were voted in, there’s such a low level of approval rating and the government can do nothing but keep apologising for ruining lives…

There shouldn’t be a stigma with the Head of State intervening and calling a general election by disbanding parliament.

As far as I’m concerned it’s what he’s there for.

In any job there's a probation period... If a person isn't up to the job you'd sit them down, tell them why and fuck them off

Completely agree

Have we ever seen such a lame duck PM?

How the fuck is she still the PM?
They need her to make us believe she was wrong while they continue eroding society. Truss went ‘Too far, too fast’, they need to do a lot more before they relinquish power.

I think the plan is to cause so much shit that there is too much for Starmer to address in just 6 questions therefore allowing Truss to escape PMQ's unscathed - that can only explain this

We need set dates for elections. Every 4 years so the incumbents cannot choose their moment. If a PM is ousted rather than dies or ill health it's an election. Plus PR.

In the hope they're ousted in two years time, the new leader needs to make that one of their first policies (along with sorting all the shit out of course).

Given Starmer SHOULD (no guarantee as a lot can change) have a huge majority he should make that a priority so this shower of shit of endless fucking caretaker managers can't happen again.

Sadly, I can't see it being a priority as they'll pretend it won't happen again now Labour are in power.

The Watford manager position feels more secure than the PM job atm.
