Liz Truss

Braverman hasn’t been forced out. She’s quit having probably sent that email on purpose.

She’ll be back when Truss goes in a few days, sadly.
It's blatant.

Makes a "mistake" and resigns as it's "the honourable thing to do."

Puts a dig in about Truss in her statement and puts herself in the shopwindow telling MPs she wants the job and there's going to be an election if they want someone else.

How Truss can still be playing to her lobbiests is beyond me. Forcing the Tories to go against their personal choice on this is wrong, bue even more wrong is if the party vote her way.

They all know it’s about the money for her, surely they’re not daft enough to back her after what has happened.
Not only is she demanding Self-Servatives vote against the manifesto on which they were elected, but for many of them, they will, in effect be voting themselves out of a job because if there is a possibility of a fracking license being issued in your constituency, backing Truss tonight will cost you your seat at the general election
Hopefully he’s not even heard of Rwanda.
He thinks it is a valley in Wales.

Brexit made this chaos inevitable by turning the UK into a low growth country.

The lockdowns exacerbated it by wasting £500bn of taxpayers' money and creating the cost of living crisis.

Putin made it worse.

The Tory party will continue to tear itself apart until it reconciles itself to the primary cause.

Government basically resorting to blackmail.

Quite refreshing and surprising to hear a politician actually answer a direct question in language that normal people use, albeit not exactly a tough interview.
Mhairi Black is an excellent orator and has usually her finger on the pulse.
I don't always agree with her politics (I'm a diehard Unionist, so don't agree with indyref2, though also a Trade Unionist, so agree with her economic policies), but she normally has the ability to give coherent and reasonable arguments for her position, and in words that the majority can understand.

She just needs the string vest and bandage to transition into Rab C Nesbit.

Nah, that’s his pseudonym, Russell Hobbs.

I'm guessing you're aware of his pseudonym predilection?

Following from his wki page

Shapps's use of the names Michael Green, Corinne Stockheath and Sebastian Fox attracted controversy in 2012. He denied having used a pseudonym after entering parliament and, in 2014, threatened legal action against a constituent who had stated on Facebook that he had. In February 2015, he publicly said: "I don't have a second job and have never had a second job while being an MP. End of story."[26]

However, in March 2015, Shapps admitted to having had a second job while being an MP, and practising business under a pseudonym.[27][28] In his admission, he stated that he had "over-firmly denied" having a second job.[29] In March 2015, Dean Archer, the constituent previously threatened with legal action by Shapps, threatened Shapps with legal action

They should have got it right last time around ,by voting for the former Goldman Sachs investment Banker Risihi Sunak.

Our uncompromised MSM will make sure they get it right eventually ;-).
