Deliver a million frozen pensioners would be my guess. Will save on pension, NHS and social care bills.
Wouldn’t surprise me if that’s the unspoken plan.

But if she goes, her successor will be voted for by the clowns that voted for Truss (and bloody Johnson) in the first place. - Is there any chance these party members will be offered a reasonable choice when the Tory MPs put up another couple of candidates?
I'm not doubting she'll be a lame duck PM. But it's possible the party will stick with her rather than risk another two or three month spell without effective government.
