100% agree. At the moment she is only interested in running the party and doesn't know what she will do once she's in number 10.

The problem I have with Truss is she will say anything if it means career advancement. It is impossible to understand whare her core values lie because there are so many conflicts in her public statements. She said she wanted her children to grow up in a green and pleasant land free from pollution, which our membership of the EU guranteed us. She was an arch remainer, but agreed to water companies discharging raw effluent into rivers and onto beaches, which is fine and dandy now she is an arch leaver and we are free from the shackles of the EUSSR.

That's just one example of the confusion in her head, and it's a confusion based on a lack of conviction.

The problem is that she will still be the glove puppet if/when she gets in power. Like you say, she hasn’t got the courage of her convictions because the biggest thing for her is to grab power and to do so means selling herself down the river to gain it.

When considering the sequence of Prime Ministers I am reminded of my Latin master, Mr Burton. He was a good teacher with a good rapport with his pupils. At the end of the year he advised us that he would not be taking us for Latin next year but Mr Wyndham (who should have been institutionalised) would.
