Just as well we're no longer significant then. Or maybe that's why we're no longer significant. But that's democracy.
 
I love when a thread is bumped and you see the title and you automatically think, well that must be a spoof: Liz Truss could never have been prime minister. And then...
 
One of the few times you want her to be right but unfortunately we all know that is not possible….

She was on the news tonight to remind us that we have a fucked up system that can result in an unelected total barm pot becoming PM, even after 3 years of lunacy from her predecessor. Her and Johnson have done more damage to the reputation of the UK than anyone in living memory.
 
As an advocate of 'Trickle-down' economics, a theory which has never produced the anticipated 'growth' when implemented, I can only imagine that Truss has been infected with the ideological equivalent of the Cordyceps fungus.
