Llandudno

I live nearby. Loads to see and do - round the Great Orme is a nice walk. Some stunning views over towards Anglesey and up towards the straits.

Or a walk to the little Orme and up it is also good fun.

Alternatively, a walk from west shore to Conwy (I believe there’s some kind of coastal path - the mrs takes our kids down there.)

If you’re up for a proper walk, then Llandudno over to Penrhynside and down into Rhos on Sea is nice - lots of great cafes and several watering holes to go at. Would give Colwyn Bay a wide berth though.

If you get tired then the number 12 bus connects Llandudno and Rhos on Sea very well, every 20 mins or so.

Would avoid the red open top buses by the pier - they’re pretty expensive. One goes to Conwy and on goes to Rhos. If you want to get to Rhos then use the Arriva number 12.

Decent fish and chips in Llandudno = Tribells. Decent Italian = Carlo’s. Decent Chinese = Tops. Decent pizza = Jonny Dough’s.

If you find yourself in Conwy, Jalsa is great for a curry.

One of my all time favourite breakfasts is the Loaf (not the cottage loaf, but the cafe opposite the Paladium). The M&S cafe is pretty good for a quick but filling breakfast too.

Lots of watering holes towards the top of Llandudno.

Hope you have a great trip, it’s a lovely part of the world!
