Stood on the Kippax with at least 2,000 other City fans for Paul Power’s testimonial.

Never understood the hate he got from sone quarters. Great club servant and very good footballer.

I went to that with my mate in the Main stand. I was only about 13 at the time. We got beat 3-1 I think and I'm sure Power scored(or am I getting mixed up with the league game?) Only about 6 or 7'000 turned up which was very disappointing for such a top servant and boyhood blue.
