Taxis are cheap as chips and in abundance so nothing to worry on that score. It cost me £40 in a cab from my quarantine in Istanbul to get back to the airport.Just to add to this, people might recognise that ISL (Istanbul Ataturk Airport) is an airport east of Instanbul which is fairly close to Istanbul. However, this is just a cargo airport now and closed to commercial passenger flights in 2019. So if your confused as to why this airport isn’t showing as an option when you’re booking, then there’s your answer. It’s basically IST or SAW you want, but SAW looks to be a bit more out in the Sticks. Hope this helps.
I’m going to do the same as you but I expect I will be watching in my hotel room.If Turkey goes onto the 'amber' list, and work are happy to furlough me on return to serve my home isolation whilst still getting some pay.....this could be very tempting indeed.
Hotels are stupidly cheap for the weekend so thinking of booking one with cancellation and seeing what happens.

Has the ballot gone?If it is a 25,000 capacity and 8,000 for the competing teams then who are the other 17,000 who are going to be taking up the slack? Even after the great and the good have had their noses in the trough, you could be left with 8-10,000 for the public. That is much higher than normal for a final in normal circumstances. Bear in mind that nobody is going to travel to Turkey who doesn't support the two teams (often tickets are sold at the QF stage and thousands from all over Europe apply on the off-chance their team will make it). That 8-10,000 will be made up of City, RM/Chelsea fans and the Istanbul public. Can you see so many Turks wanting to pay £200 for a ticket for two teams they don't support?
I think the UEFA ballot presents a better opportunity than normal.
No need to PCR from 15th May to fly into Turkey ref but you definately need one to exit 72 hrs prior to departing.You make a good point but surely we’ll sell out our allocation given that it’s our first ever CL final? Regardless of the restrictions. Can’t see this going to general sale personally.
The need to test to go to Turkey from uk has finished from 15th May - 10 day home isolation and £30 Turkish PCR is still required to return to UKThere is so much fear over Covid, that will put an awful lot of people off.

You have to fill in a passenger locator form on UK Gov website. I think it’s a 1k fine if you land in Britain without filling in before border control. COVID is fucking rife over here. I’m coming home this week to get jibberjabbered.“Hello mr nice man,
