Loons on motorbikes

When I was a kid you could ride a 250 cc bike on l plates that was capable of 100mph near enough. If the truth be told we all did silly things and the traffic wasn’t half as bad as it is today. The bike test was a couple of laps round the block and the examiner would appear to test your emergency stop.
Yes, as a 17 yr old I had a Honda CB250 on L plates. Straight to that from a Puch VZ50 moped. Came off it once turning right, down hill on a wet road. First and last time. Arranged a load of driving lessons and moved to a car.

Wierd. So all their product development must come from customers feedback ??
Well we sell BMW motorbikes but nobody who works in that area actually rides bikes . I found it weird as well ! They can sell you a bike but have no idea of how it feels to ride one .

I had a Gilera 50 and the difference between that and a proper bike was immense

The moment one of these cnuts decides to ride a bike with a balaclava rather than a helmet then i lose any sympathy for them, personally i would allow the police to chase the little feckers and if they come a cropper during the chase then bollox to them.

I was in the same boat financially but had a string of bikes, last one being a Kawasaki 1100 Eddie Lawson replica, it was very quick and overall not as good as my Kawasaki GT 750, shaft drive. I rode all over western Europe on that, several times over to the Isle of Man.
I recently sold my Suzuki DR 650, just too much bike for what I do, I just ride around on Forest service roads of which there are thousands of miles, will replace with something smaller and lighter, maybe a little Honda 250
Just shopping around for one of these:
