I could if it meant justice.
That's a good point. Having kids/ grandchildren has a big psychological affect on someone when it comes to children in general. That's not to say people without kids don't look at cases like this without absolute horror though.
I suppose people relate to things in a personal way. I don't have any young children in my life, my sister's 15 and she's the youngest in my immediate family. Whereas someone with young kids in their immediate lives, automatically think of them when they hear a terrible story involving young kids.
