Turns out he wasnt plotting to rape a one year old, he is being accused of actually going through with it... His trial has been set for November.
There must be some pretty hard evidence for him to be detained for this long without bail

It's been said one of the two women arrested is the mother of the baby and a besotted fan of watkins.

My thoughts exactly.

He was ever the wannabe Rock Star when I saw him in Jilly's Rock World. It was a live music night only and he swaggered in with his hood up and a bottle of Evian in his hand. He watched one band for 3 songs and walked back out again. As I have said before, I knew a few bands from the South Wales scene and there seemed to be ill feeling towards Lost Profits and Ian Watkins especially. I initially put it down to jealousy because they were the biggest and most successful of all those bands but it seems something else triggered it.

I met a couple of members from Funeral For A Friend and they were as down to earth as anything.
 
Was in court yesterday. The Jury are going to be offered counciling afterwards because somet the things they will see and hear are that bad.. must be some compelling evidence against him then.

The charges against him are:
Two charges of raping a baby
One of conspiracy to rape another child
One of sexual assault
One of aiding and abetting sexual assault by penetration
One of conspiracy to sexually assault a child
11 of making indecent images
Two of taking indecent images
Four of possessing indecent images
One of possessing extreme pornographic images involving an animal
 
He's admitted two charges of trying to rape a baby. Horrific.

Just read this on the BBC.

What a sick sick man! Doesnt get much worse than that for me.

Hope he gets sent down for a long long time
