i wouldn't of minded the gamble but an extra player would have been needed (unless we were going to rely on Phillips as well)

Got in team of the season in his first proper year. I know PL is stronger than La Liga but he’s obviously good enough to get a few games here. If Paqueta’s been stifled by not playing in a great team, Veiga played for relegation favourites and his goals saved them.
