Lucas Paqueta investigated by FA for alleged betting breaches

I can never quite get my head around people with no knowledge of an issue just blame Txiki.

What if he's asked for 900k per week, does that make Txiki useless?

What if we've found out that when Paqueta was 15, he liked to set fire to bunny rabbits. Txiki useless?

What if we've learned that his knee is made of cheese, Txiki useless?

The knee jerk blame Txiki thing is so, so bizarre.
Just shows the immaturity and/or lack of intelligence of some so called fans

The way I look at it is and going off Moyes comments re city, madrid etc being to hard to turn down. Is a deal and fee is agreed with West Ham and it’s all bullshit stories coming out about we won’t meet the £85m. They just want their replacement in. First so they get a good deal on the player they want and they won’t be light in numbers if they let their player go and not get anyone in.

I’d be more worried about their dealings falling through then. Our deal with them.
Surely West Ham realise they are going to have to pay the obligatory Premier league premium + Rice fee premium for any signings. Can’t see a further premium for another £85m fee resulting in further premiums as they have only spent £73m of the £105m they got for Rice. Hope you are right though

1.Txiki isn’t the money man in negotiations.

2.If the deal has broken down because of “confidential issues” it’s maybe not related to money.

3.If it is money, and City cannot go above a certain figure, then the most likely scenarios are that we have an overall budget, that is probably constrained by FFP considerations, meaning that’s all we have OR the remaining money is allocated elsewhere to another more important player that we don’t know about yet.
