BBC says that West Ham paid £36.5m for him, so where did this £51m figure come from? If that's the case, then £70m seems like a figure they might accept.
Oh do fuck off. Foden is one of the most talented players in Europe. Saka, as good as he is isn’t fit to lace his boots. But the facts are this. Before no question Phil was better than Saka but since then, saka has gone on to become a regular RW at a top side and is playing very well. Saka is an excellent RW and for me is a player you’d swipe at any chance. Sure Foden is probably more talented but Saka has begun to kick on career wise. Foden needs to have consistency and become a regular fixture now.

The same argument that convinced Spurs to spend £50m on Richarlison. Or Arsenal to spend the same amount on Jesus. For a 25 year old World Class Brazilian international ?
I once played a through ball that spilt a five man defence with ease, it was on Ashton Grammar football pitch, I didn’t get any offers of a professional contract on the back of that pass, strange really. His assist to Bowen in the ECL final should be all you need to see. Vision and can help unlock Haaland with KDB and Foden
You're a West Ham fan, no matter how you dress it up you are biased. He is.
No biasism on my part but once he settled in the Prem (took him a few months) he stood out and run the show some games and our European run.
I prey it doesn't happen - but if he went City you'd realise.
