It's ridiculous though, when these serial killers get a retrial for one victim, when they've been already been convicted of 7 murders, as if they have any intregrity left?, and as if, in Letby's case it's gonna be a mitigating factor or something.. like how about the babies she could've killed but didnt. Close the book, lock the door and throw away the key

Well, yeah I understand that mate, I was just saying I'm not sure if I'd want (as the parent) for there to be a retrial.. that was the point I was making, but, if they do, whoever the parents are, then that should be up to them. I don't know anything about law, and order, but I'd hope the bereaved have a say in the matter.. they're surely not saying though "I don't think she killed my baby!, mine died of genetics" or whatever.

It’ll be for closure, I guess. The family wanting justice for their suffering.

I get what you’re saying and some families might just want to move on as she’s not getting out any time soon.

It‘s a gut feeling. We can only imagine how they feel. Sounds like they want their say in court and we all hope they get the result they want.
 
With the retrial, we as the general public don’t know many of the reasons as to why it’s been granted. New evidence may have been brought to light etc.

The jury could not reach a verdict.
DPP clearly thinks there is enough to have another go on on of the charges and have dropped the other five.

At legal aid rates? A privately paid fraud would be five times as much.

And ‘legal team’ is the wankest term in the English language. It’s the expression that small time businessmen use to describe their solicitor.
