If I was shaw I wouldn't move to us ur record on young players, especially English is terrible right now. I would move to either united or Liverpool where I would have a better chance of playing

I've noticed something... on one hand you complain about our lack of English players. Then when we're linked with one, you say he shouldn't come here. So what do you want exactly?

It's obvious that if Shaw did come here, it'd be at the expense of Clichy or Kolarov, so he'd play at least 30 games a season. Clichy and Kolarov have exactly 25 appearances each for City so far this season. Shaw has made 30 appearances for Southampton, just 5 more than our rotated left-backs, because his club play less games (earlier cup eliminations + no Europe).

tl;dr: Shaw would play lots of games here and probably become our #1 left-back before too long. It'd be a good move for him and for the club, because unlike too many of our English signings like Sinclair (who can't even get on West Brom's bench most weeks), he has a level of talent beyond most young English players.
K
Tbh I'm looking at it more from a national team point of view and for the player the self. Having seen us buy English players like Barry, Milner, lescott and seen them not played even when good enough especially Milner. I don't want to see them come here unless they are guaranteed a good number of games, not just the odd cup game or ten minutes at the end like Milner. I just thnk it would be a shame for someone lie say Barkley to come here and go from a regular starter to barely playing.

Shaw could start, but if I was him I'd rather move to somewhere like Liverpool where I know the manager has faith in young players, especially British players. One player I still can't believe we god rid of was trippier, he is ripping up the championship now. I would have move Richards to right back maybe and put him t rb

Im pretty sure if we were signing Luke Shaw for over 20 million squids he would be our starting left back

Unfortunately we're not in the frame for his signature at the moment.

Believe it or not the Rags are in pole position, they're putting all their eggs in one basket with a huge offer that eclipses Chelsea.

I could well believe that as the rags are a bit desperate, they won't have Champions League and so will have to offer huge wages and pay big prices. The interesting thing will be whether they will be able to complete the deals if Chelsea get close to their offer. Agents may well use their interest to get better deals from preferred options.

If we're not after him we're idiots. Kolarov lacks the pace and defensive ability and Clichy has the pace but has gone backwards dramatically this season. Pellegrini likes to use the full backs and this kid is brilliant and can also take great free kicks as well.

I'd hardly say barry, milner and lescott haven't played...

Since Pellegrini arrived:

1) We shipped out Barry to our detriment

2) Lescott plays 2nd fiddle to MDM as Vinnie's partnet - Mind boggling

3) It doesn't seem to matter how well Milner plays or how committed or how professional he is he gets limited opportunities - Astonishing at times

Richards & Rodwell will come good somewhere, personally think some of the stick they've receibed is OTT, both have suffered big time with injuries .....

1) We brought in Fernandinho, who's on another planet.
2)Because he's crap and scared of the ball.
3)Probably the one worth keeping
And i'd rather give MDM a new 10 year contract than wait for them to come good !

You would give MDM a 10 year contract?
I'd rather play with 10 men

Have you been on the magic mushrooms or u about 12 years old?.

Firstly Barry would have been very useful to us he's still a very good player. Fernandinho & Yaya are having to play a lot of games.

Lescott has been playing well & he's nowhere near as bad on the ball as people make out.

MDM is a liability, the argument that he's better on the ball is wearing thin, in case you didn't notice he keeps making absolute massive f*ck ups in key games and he makes Lescott look quick!!!

Richards & Rodwell were two excellent young English players and now they're being written off
by City fans, it makes no sense, injuries have set them back.

Either your not a City fan or your just a complete and utter thick tw*t - which one is it????

1) It was good for Barry but certainly not good for us to let Barry go hindsight or not.
2) You have to have a serious strain of amnesia or are simply blind or your judgement seriously obscured to think Dimechelis is a better option to Lescott.
3) Richard and Rodwell has had injuries and Rodwell in particular have been overlooked under the new manager. Milner has also been overlooked to the detriment of the team.

You cant be serious with the last bit.

Sorry either you've been drinking or are completely fuckin clueless prick ,which one is it ????????
In case you'didn't notice Lescott and Micah look like Laurel and Hardy in fuckin defence and I would've thought the give Demichelis a 10 year contract would naturally be seen as a joke.
