Sky half heartedly said it was a red card. MOTD2 downplayed it even more 'just caught him above the ankle'.

Gary Neville said it was a red card, and no way is he biased towards us.

I guess you could argue that it's not a red, but it was a yellow 100 times out of 100 for me. Wildly wreckless. Phil is very lucky to not be seriously injured there.

It cant be a yellow, if its deemed reckless and both feet off the ground its a red all day long

Watched the extended highlights and I have to say Foden was brilliant in a central role.
Haaland being injured may actually be a blessing in disguise.

Saw Lutons last 2 games and I thought Barkley played very well.
Looks like he's carrying too much weight but played well against arsenal and ourselves.

Or pep could play Foden behind Haaland and put Alvarez out wide? Foden needs a run as the 10. The boss goes to him in an emergency situation only. Its not enough, leave him centrally until Kev is fit. He will with time create for erling.
