We were umballanced a bit with no kev/berny/ilkay available and not on top form, still never lost and qualified so all good.

Cannot blow people away every game and anyone complaining when we don't is over precious.

Shown some grit coming from behind twice in a difficult away game. Qualified and that's the scores on the doors. Frees up the hoffenheim match to bring in players for decent game time.

I think people saying we were lucky are focusing on all their chances and forgetting most of ours, we didn't create as many as we normally do or from the same positions we normally do(perhaps that's why people are dismissing them?) but we weren't poor by any means.

Ok we didn't win but we wouldn't be beat tonight, oddly we were edging the game when they scored their goal. Once in the lead they got a second wind when they looked to be feeling the effects of the first half but we wouldn't let them get comfy with it and again when they scored their second.

Yes we’re amazing in the league but I think I understand when some critics claim peps style falters against the better sides in Europe. We concede far too many chances, if Lyon were clinical we would’ve got hammered tonight. I hope I’m wrong and we sweep all before us, really would like to see us win the CL for Silva/Kun and Kompany.

to be fair all our players who control midfield were out so a good gritty performance

Mahrez and Sterling on the pitch didn’t work, Mahrez always looks to come inside and a bit too predictable. Some of the final balls through were very sloppy, we were due an off night at some point glad it’s tonight where it doesn’t effect us much.

I Wouldn't big Lyon up to much Marv, what are they, 15 points behind PSG and haven't been able to beat Hoffenheim or Shaktar in the other group games.
