I agree, I don't think Gundogan fits into our style of play very well. He's just too slow and too scared to tackle (understandable after his long knee injury).

The man who is scared to tackle comfortsbly made the most tackles of any City player despite coming off early.

We are desperate for a midfielder in January. Gundy is not good enough against quick teams
Even when Kev is back it’s going to take time for match fitness and I fear fern picking up an injury due to having to play every game.
We are far too light for hard central midfielders and teams seem to be getting through us much easier than last year.
Aggressive type play will destroy our midfield. It will be a big test when we play Liverpool to see where we are at this season.

Shite night for City but we'll be fine and still finish top IMO.
Shocking performance and the only positive was when Sane came who should have started. Dhino was very poor and was constantly caught in possession. Quite worrying we did not get cover for him and we need to look in the January window imo.
The whole defence apart from Stones was shit and Laporte looked less than convincing when up against pace.
Hopefully just a bad day at the office.

Lots of backwards passes tonight. I'm pretty sure it won't have gone unnoticed with pep.
