Not sure why there should be surprise. There's always a difference between the blue sky rhetoric before being elected and the collision with reality once they get in. It's true of all ardent campaigners, it's so easy to scream about what's wrong, it's a damn sight harder to put it right.
Like with Brexit - all sides in the House have been able to say exactly what the DON'T want...................as yet nothing happening on the what they do want side.
