Maddest celebration

Not sure if been stated but John Gidman free Kick in injury time against Huddersfield away
in FA cup sent about 10000 blues wild. Me and mate sneaked in the home end but had to scarper into city's end as there was this weirdo stood behind us with his cock hanging out!
Blackburn away promotion game. was watching in pub in Blackburn with 200 City when we scored the first, we went mental for ages, when eventually we calmed down, looked up to see a empty shelf where a few minutes earlier stood a nice 50" Flat screen, City of thieves, we had to go to ground and smashed our way in through big gates!

Yaya at Newcastle, the season we won the league.....nearly put my fist through the wall!!

After this I was in Ireland, pissed on the Guiness , I ripped my shirt off, ran round the pub singing Ya Ya Ya Ya toure !

My excuse was 40 years of Hurt and pain !

Hutchinson's goal in 81 Final, running up & down the house, while celebrating my mate came in & asked if I'd like to come out to play, errr NO.

Probably not the rarest but has to be Dickovs equalizer at Wembley, sat in a box at Wembley for the match and the radiator fell (was pulled) off the wall behind us! It was mental.

Morley's in '89 v Rags that made it 2-0. Ended up halfway across the Kippax.

Mate, i'll maintain forever and a day that the "bounce" for any of those 3 first half goals in that match were, and will be, the best celebrations I or any MCFC fan could want to be in.
The whole Kippax was a fucking moshpit turned upside down and back to front. I swear I traveled 20 feet without touching the floor at one point.

Utter bedlam.

And it was beautiful. :)

Not sure if mentioned...

Johnson vs Derby County 2007, first goal at home in 8 months. I was right behind the goal & had a perfect view.

Even more was Geovanni's a few weeks later, I ended up nowhere near my seat.

Dzeko's away at West Brom was madness, my mate ended up 10 rows down & cleared a woman out, I spent the next 5 minutes apologising to her husband on his behalf!!

-- Sat Mar 29, 2014 1:54 pm --

Mpenza's winnner at Newcastle in 2007. Very late on it, was the winner in a 0-1 game, we were looking like we may get relegated. but that pretty much kept us safe!

Forgotten hero.

Where would we be now if it wasn't for him?

Yes!!! He did the same at Middlesbrough the week after if I remember rightly.

Yes you remember correctly - I was at both games. Two v important trips to the N East. I'll never forget that important Mpenza goal at Newcastle and going mental celebrating it with my girlfriend (now my wife). Sun Jihai was immense in central midfield that day too amongst others.

-- Sat Mar 29, 2014 2:08 pm --

Brilliant description. Describes exactly my experience too. What a first half...what an afternoon. It was our best for many years after too!
