Why does the media not devote 7 trillian column inches to every kid that goes missing or is it just well to do doctors children that matter
Does it not matter that they were quite obviously being terrible parents

No clarkie, i still believe they are responsible, somehow. When i saw that press conference with that bird who stabbed her boyfriend to death, then lied about it being a road rage attack, i could tell there was something wrong. I was right then, and i am certain i am now.

To be honest blueboy i think more coverage should be given & more money towards looking for missing folk..

I just think the maddie case was given all the press because of her age,just my opinion.

about 2 weeks after her disappearance, i was waiting for a takeaway pizza in a busy benidorm restaurant.there were many people in there and the family in front of me were of south american origen. when i got in the car my missus said did you see the south americans that was in the place as they had a small blonde girl with them. i asked which way did they go and she said they got into a transit type van. when we got back we got in touch via the webpage that was set up but we heard not a dickie bird from them. no one even rang to speak to us .so why waste more money when they dont follow up leads.the parents must be down on their duty frees

White, attractive, English middle class parents, including a mother who is an ideal poster girl for the Daily Mail? Blanket coverage. It was the same with the girl in Bristol who was killed by her neighbour.
Yet it would be treated very differently in the media if they were from the underclass, or immigrants. It would get much less coverage.

You mean like the one shannon matthews one?

There was a huge discrepancy between the reward for finding each girl. In the Matthews case the reward was something like £50,000 where as the McCann's is 2.6 million.
