I have said similar before. It's terribly sad that the girl has never been found, and the parents didn't deserve for this to happen to them, but it was neglectful.

I've not got kids yet myself, but is this normal to leave kids asleep in a hotel room while you piss it up downstairs? I don't think it is at all, even if you leave a baby monitor or similar device in the room with the kids.

People have said to me before 'all our parents have done it haven't they', have they? I remember going on package holidays to Spain with my parents as a kid, and if they wanted a drink we stayed up with them during the entertainment while they had a few drinks. If they ever went to a bar we went with them. I remember being 5 and my parents got shit faced in a bar as the waiter was pouring them free drinks and free pop for me and my brother. All walked back to the hotel together no dramas.

My thoughts are if you can't have fun on holiday with your kids being there, then drink earlier in the day and go to bed when they do, leave them at home with grandparents, or don't have kids at all.
 
I think they know she’s dead and either found her that way or contributed to her death. What I’m intrigued to know is where they may have taken the body?

The parents should be arrested for criminal neglect and the case should be dropped. Won't happen as they're connected.

My Dad regularly left us in the car outside the pub. My mum left us in the pram in the back garden. The 70s were different. Although, we stayed in a family hotel a few years ago which provided baby monitors so parents could eat in the restaurant at night with the kids in the room and many did. This was pre Madeline Mcannn.

How could they keep up this charade for almost 12 years?...that’s what makes it so hard to believe they were involved.

I can tell you that you do not have to go far from the resort to end up in, not quite wilderness but certainly isolated and uninhabited areas of scrubland dotted all over with open wells.
There are also wild boar all over the Algarve who could do a fine job of disappearing a body.
It really wouldn't be hard, very little cctv anywhere to track movements.
The wife had better not piss me off!! :-)

Also the local police never even blocked the roads or borders off as instructed. Videos of the fuckers stood chatting and fagging it, and running back into their vehicles to hide from a rain shower. If the girl was taken she will have definitely ended up in North Africa unfortunately, never to be seen again.

If this incident happened in UK, the girl would've been found a long time ago, dead or alive. They were just unlucky that it happened in a tin pot European country with tin pot public services. Or luckily depending on which side of the fence you sit on.

Whether or not they had any direct involvement in the death or abduction of their own daughter, they thought it was perfectly acceptable to leave her alone whilst they went on the piss with their mates.

Add into that the fact that they were less than forthcoming with their assistance to the authorities (like they had something to hide), and something just doesn't add up with this pair.
 
Well looks like bluemoons detectives have solved another high profile case. I thought Gerry disposing of Maddie in the pet cemetery furnace was hard to top, now a Wild boar.

You should google the Podesta brothers and McCann. The police sketches are identical to them, and they lived with a paedophile in the same area at the time. There’s also a picture of John Podesta playing cards with a young girl (12-15yo ish) that some believe is Madeleine

I've two small kids and would never, ever leave them alone in a hotel room. I'm staggered that this happens.
