Did the McCanns ever face a charge of child neglect? I don't recall them facing one. If not, why not?
Taking it one step further how about a charge of child abduction? They're as guilty as the 'abducter' in my eyes and should be treated as such.

Was just reading that. Confirmed that he was in the area in Portugal at the time do the disappearance, and he changed the ownership name of his jaguar the day after.

German police have him in custody for another matter, but have classed the McCann case as murder.

Used to do volunteer gardening with a guy who had a villa in the Algarve. One of his Portuguese staff told him that he knew a guy that had confessed to the McCann abduction. The employee went to the police to report the confession but I understand sweet FA happened to the suspect.
