Anyone got any solutions for my situation? Myself and my dad are season ticket holders, sacked off the euro cup scheme last year due to the extra games this season.
We’ve then purchased tickets for this Madrid game and he can no longer go. I’ve got a mate with a Supporter number who is keen to take the ticket, but City are saying non-cup scheme members can’t transfer (the option is greyed out on the city App).
It isn’t feasible for my mate to take my dads phone with us, other issue is my dad is now on an over 65 ticket, so if we managed to get a print out or something then it would probably flag at the ground (not actually sure but assume so) and it’s obvious my mate isn’t anywhere near that age.
So not sure what the best way to do this is.
Overall think it’s a pointlessly punitive rule change, appreciate they want to cut down touting but this is just inconveniencing proper fans. The idea that it’s fine to transfer if you’ve paid for the cup-scheme just feels like a money grab from city.
