Mahamadou Susoho

Has always looked quite useful to me, we seem to have had a long line of defensive midfielders such as Lavia and Tommy Doyle. Gaining a regular place in the first team for us however is a huge step up. I think Dada-Mascoll looks a better bet though, he is a monster.

We can't even guarantee £50 million signings a place in the side, academy or youngsters don't stand much of a chance when players like McAteer are loaned out without being given a proper chance.
 
Has a nice touch and passes crisply. Thing I noticed was how 2 footed he is so instead of just knocking it down the line to the next player he can change feet and goes the other way. As Malcolm Allison liked to say a 2 footed player is also 2 eyed.
I.do.like the look of him, hopefully doesn't just get sold and finish up in the managements positive net spend bonus.
 
Seemed okay once he got over the shock of the fast goal against, was caught sleeping by their box but he got the ball back and all of his passes, although simple, were fast and straight to the feet.

I thought he was excellent, winning the ball, read the game well and quite strong.

It’s his composure that I really like. For someone who plays in his position, doesn’t just run around trying to tackle everything in sight. It’s calm and measured even when surrounded.

Really is a shame with IDM. Injuries to him and O’Reilly have put a slight dent in the trajectory. Same thing happened to Mbete. Not been the same player since and everything looks off or a beat slower with him.

So it’s nice to see Susoho give a good account of himself.
