No no no no no and no. Zabs is far better cut out for this league than Maicon. 1 swallow does not a summer make. That being said, was 'triffic when he came on, I have never doubted Maicon one minute.

Bloke's won a World Cup and a Champions League. After a couple of bad performances against Bale at his peak, he was slaughtered by the British media.

The next time they see Maicon, he's making his second appearance for his new team against Ronaldo and Real Madrid.

Today was the perfect time to re-introduce him. Nullified Bale, offered a direct threat on the wing, balanced the team and he's fucking Brazilian! I've missed them.
