Maicon

Muted applause when he came on and I though "why" but what do I know.. he may have lost a yard of pace but he showed his experience and think that will be invaluable. Maybe another Paddy signing?

Pure class today. Really made the difference.

Brave call by Mancini to throw him in against Bale again, but proved to be a very shrewd move indeed.

Delighted for them both.

Presume the Spurs fans will now have the good grace to swivel on it :-)

Maicon is top class!

And the class showed today as soon as he came on. Some of those whipped in crosses just needed a touch from attacker or defender. They are the kind of balls that defenders detest. They can defend all day with their backs to their own goal but put 'em on a swivel and yer can see the complexion of the game change.

This is the worst Spurs performance in the last four. Perhaps they thought that Rasmussen Oliver would see 'em ok to the final whistle.

Played well. Came on as right wing. (Zab was behind him when required to nullify Bale's pace). Stretched the Spurs defence out to their left and that created the gaps to win the game.
He was a wing back, zab was a centre back. He was not right wing.

A good man and a good player.
Changed the game for me today

Agree , certainly showed some great class and composure today , silenced the Spurs fans and was unlucky not to be set free heading towards goal at the end
