Does anyone else think that Maicon could cover Yaya as a CM?

I've been thinking this for a while, he has a good pass, decent strength, he's decently mobile, ok height-wise, experienced, decent shot and a good crosser... And obviously he's a right back by trade so the defensive aspects are there.

FFS role me some of that sh*t you're smoking pal. Maicon is no more a cover for Yaya as Silva is cover for Vinny.

I'm not saying Maicon could just become Yaya, but if Maicon was fit through that lot of injuries we just had, he could have done a good job as a CM if he was played there IMO.
