In fairness Richards was hurt going into the season and he was expected and did miss a lot of games. To only have 1 RB would have been a bit risky. To have Zab have to play every league game, CL and LC is asking a bit too much and if he got hurt the team would be in real trouble. Secondly I think he was brought in to play RW when they played a back 4. Now the whole back 3 has been a disaster so they may not go back to it and he'll end up on the bench for the majority of the season. But with Richards healthy they may go back to it. I think he fits that system much better than Kolo or Zab so perhaps it will function better with Richards, Kompany & Lescot/Nastasic.
