Make this season Claudio Bravo's season

Why should I shut up. I bet you never kept your trap shut when you watched him play.
Touched a nerve? Feeling a bit bad about the effects your boos had on a City player.

Never booed him actually, never booed any City player at a match but I have certainly expressed my opinion of them on here. But since you seem to have such a hard on for him I will look forward to you moaning next season as he is left warming the bench watching Ederson between the sticks.

If you read my posts I never slag players, managers off it does no one any good , but I'm not having he was OK he was dog shit if he was playing at the swamp every blue and I mean every blue would of lapped it up

But he wasn't at the swamp but the way SOME of our fans treated him, I bet he thought he was. Rag fans loved watching us slaughter him

One game does not define his performance. Early in the season Bravo was playing fine, but he hardly had any help from the City defense. People kept saying he couldn't save anything, but the few chances that went against him were VERY good chances that were taken well. Then the media and fans went on overdrive and kept slagging him off, and even the routine became difficult because he was doubting himself. This happened to Hart too, and I believe Mignolet at Liverpool (off the top of my head). Goalkeepers need that confidence, he showed his class at Barcelona, experienced keeper don't just turn to shit for no reason, there is always a reason.

It was that mistake at the rags, when he was actually knocked over. The rag press were on it our sheep jumped on the rag press bandwaggon & it 's affected him.

The saves he just made are instinctive. At City he's thinking before he moves.

If he he'd had a game where he stopped everything, it would have likely changed overnight.

He's clearly not a mug & only a fucking mug would think he is. But he still has to get through that barrier at City, to become a viable keeper for us.

He never had any form for us. The first real thing he had to do last season was at the swamp where he messed up twice! One on the cross he came out for and they scored, the other he just got away with when he miscontrolled
As the season progressed he got worse and lost confidence and that was before the fans started to doubt him

It wasn't before, a small element were against him from the start simply because of who he replaced and a refusal to accept a different type of keeper. His debut aside his form was pretty decent up until the Chelsea game, despite this he was receiving disproportionate criticism, every goal we conceded was pinned on him in some way or another by a growing number of dissenting voices.

Following the Chelsea game his form went to shit, perhaps if we'd got behind him he may have turned it around, as it was he received little to no support and we were left with a shadow of the player he's proven to be since his Sociedad days.

Happy for him tonight, hopefully he brings that confidence back to City with him.

You must be right pal. After all, what did Pep know when he signed him. He certainly didn't know how shit some of our fans can be

Great tonight. Shit season. Simple as that.

Apologists are wasting their time looking backwards. If he plays well next season, he'll be accepted. If he bombs again, he'll get crap, irrespective of what Pep or anyone on here thinks of him.

I agree, I was just sick of the media witch hunt against him, and it's always depressing to see our own fans hate our own player. Here's hoping this confidence lasts and City can sort out a proper defensive line in front of him so he can play with full confidence.

Bravo got a rough ride last season, he came in and replaced Hart who for all his faults was very well liked by the fans and so needed to get off to a flyer. The protection he was offered at times was very poor by our back 4 and he had a terrible run of games where no matter what happened he just couldn't get in the way of anything.

There is no way that you have a career like he has had if you are crap, he was sadly lacking in confidence last season and I expect to see a different player this year.

For one I really hope he proves his doubters wrong.
