Utter drivel... We seem to be witnessing a dose of 'selective history recall' a kind of mental disease that manifests itself into the rag mental ability to only remember the good times and block out their history prior to 1980. That's a memory loss of approx 75% of their club history recall. A good strong dose of anti-dillusional drugs should fix them. Maybe hypnotherapy to help them recall their baron history from 1878 to 1980. I'm sure they will come to terms that their history was rather dull and unsuccessfull for at least a century.

I'm looking forward to being part of the blue future and if we buy sucess - so what... it's only a tried a tested formula that apparently works - the club that spends more, wins more. Ironically... the the rags and dippers tought us that formula.

Your "I expect to be banned" comment illustrates that you understand we really can't be discussing the Munich Air disaster on here, whatever your motivations so it's probably a good idea not to bring the subject up.

For those suggesting a ban for bobbyblue is warranted, you're not right. Using the M word as a derogatory term, using it to cause offence, or as a disrespectful term for United fans as a whole is most certainly warnable at best, bannable potentially based on context.

However to suggest that United benefitted from a commercial standpoint, that they managed to attract a great number of fans worldwide off the back of the disaster and that these things assisted them greatly in their growth and subsequent trophy haul isn't bannable, in fact it's pretty accurate. To claim such isn't disrespectful, and should United fans find suggesting so distasteful and offensive to them I'd suggest they should look at United's antics themselves and direct their ire at the correct location, the club which used Munich as a springboard to lauch themselves as a global footballing power.

every club has history and tradition, but not every club has success - also you cannot just select a specifc small period of history and denote it has your entire existence because it suits. When Liverpool started winning in the 70's did they not have an history, when the rags started their successful era in the 90's did they not have an history - when we start our successful era in this decade will we not have an history - bollocks, we will have an history but we will also have the success as well.
