Man City long service award/reward

Bloody hell never really given it much thought but I got my first season ticket for 74/75 season and had one ever since so 2 more seasons and it will be 50 years as a s/t holder.
Mind you first game was in 61..my dad R.I.P..took me to it...he took me to a few games a season till I was about 7 then took me to most home games and occasion away games..started going to games on my own about 13..
Watching us play and actually winning things is reward enough for most of us I would imagine.

I concur with your last sentence -in all the years I’ve had a season ticket actually seeing us winning on a regular basis and obviously trophies is good enough for me,it used to be a case of keeping the faith, and it’s been rewarded over last 10 years or so that’s for sure, long may it continue

With the Brentford game being the 500th competitive game at the Etihad I wondered if anyone had managed them all?
I just missed out but have done 498 of them.I had the company I worked for and my family to thank for a large part of it and realise not everyone is so lucky.
I'm guessing no body has done that many as those games include games in lockdown & with no fans. By my count there was 33 games at home with no fans allowed in so the most anyone could have done is 467 (inc the Everton game with only 10,000).

My own record is 445, quite pleased with that

Sorry I forgot all about lockdown!!!!!! So its 2 missed out of how many competitive matches we have been able to attend. My mistake.

I recently had a meeting with two of the clubs higher ranking executives, towards the end they asked me if thrre was anything the club could do for me as a thank you. I said I would love to take the first team for a coaching session, Attacking corners as I had a few ideas. It went quiet for a moment then we all started laughing( although I was semi serious).
Something else was sorted, but I can't help but feel Pep has missed out on a little gem of a session. -;)

When it's my time to leave this mortal coil, I think having a fatal heart attack at a City match would be my favoured choice of ending it all.
Preferably just after a winning goal that beats United or Liverpool, or even better a winning goal at Wembley that secures a League Cup or FA Cup victory.
Careful what you wish for buddy.
That happened to my Dad in 1968 at the Fenerbache European Cup game. I was with him, he was 46 and I was 17. I had been a season ticket holder with him since 1957 and I still have one. My two sons come with me now and they have both been season ticket holders for over 38 years.
