made his debut for the norwegian top club strømsgodset tonight when he came on as a sub.
started off with one of the worst tackles ever made in the norwegian top division, a career-threatning tackle off the worst kind. somehow escaped with only a booking.

played very well the last 25 minutes, including a canon off the bar from 30 yards. looked very promising. very similar to essien in the way he played-

eventful lol.

Probably explains why the Under 13's had 5 Ghanaians playing for them a couple of weeks ago against Blackburn.

Manchester City have extended the loan spell of Ghanaian youngster Mohammed Abu with Norwegian giants Stromsgodset until the end of the season.

Abu, 19, was signed by the Eastlanders in August last year but farmed him out to Stromsgodset till June this year.

The extension of his stay will mean the teenager will play in next season’s Uefa Europa League with Stromsgodset.

“I’m very happy to continue developing here because I have enough playing time and that important for me. I went to City last week and they expressed delight at my form with Stroms so I’m happy to continue,” Abu told Ghanasoccernet.com

Abu has played in all eight matches for Stromsgodset which occupy second spot on the league table

Strømsgodset played against Atletico Madrid yesterday. Mohammed Abu was the star player and man if the match. The Atl Madrid coach Gregorio Manzano was well impressed. So was the members of the coaching staff from City, sitting ringside. As they did last week in Madrid, when Abu again was among the best players on the field.

Must have been good to get man of the match in a 2-0 defeat.
