Mind numbing. Once more lacking any type of tempo and Mancini was pretty disrespectful to not only the opposition with the starting line-up, but also towards our own roster.

You don't need to earn £6m a year to see how flawed the decision was to pick both Barry and Garcia.

FFS, if there was one game Sinclair should have been given another chance from the off, it was this one.

Could not believe my eyes with ten minutes to go when we brought every player back for a Reading corner?

For me, the gears are there, but we keep slipping them.

How was it disrespectful?

Would have thought it a fairly straightforward selection.

Just in the respects, mate, two teenagers in defence and essentially a three man holding midfield, is not what Reading would have prepared for.

I'm sure it gave them an extra lift/relief when seeing team sheet.

As a blue, my initial reaction was one of disappointment, albeit, Nasty and Rekik can be very pleased with their performances.

3 points but fuck me

This is one hell of a bad patch we are going through, the perfromances this season have mostly been well below par
December to April last season mate. That period we barely put in a performance like we did in the second half against United and against Newcastle away.

I think people get a little carried away with how we played lag season becuse of August to December and the last six games. But I the way we're playing and the way we played for the most part of the middle of last season leaves me maintaining that the top five teams in Europe don't play in the Premier League.

(Barça München Dortmund Madrid and Juve - are City United and Chelsea really any better than Atléti?).

This is important.

United haven't been the best team in England in every season in the last twenty years (there's been a few where they were lacking), but they play as if they are and get themselves rigt up there all the time. It's all about mentality.

We showed it today with that winner.

I do think some people overestimate us thought be think we should just turn teams over because we're a top Prem club.

on the fucking money

A close shave but a win's a win....

A guy next to me in 303 reckons Ronldo is nailed on as is another RM player (forget the name) a Centre Back maybe......

He would certainly be the "extra dimension" we need and after the PSG sponsorship deal is ratified and the legal experts suggest it is totally within the regulations, then our blank cheques can be written for the stellar signings we still need......

I hope he is right

Yeah Readings league position shows what a tactical genius he is

How many shots on target in the 2nd half did we have , give you a clue, 80th minute.

Todays game reminded me of playing against Everton , horrible nasty game if i was a Reading fan i'd be disappointed.

Only one stat that matters - we got 3 points

Yeah of course it is.

Perhaps they don't perhaps they do, I have no idea all I know that every league is different.

We were far the better team throughout and really should have took the chances, but you win some you lose some, it's frustrating I know, but it's still 3 points, sometimes I don't think a win is good enough for some people without going into hyperbole overdrive, the amount of hang wringing on this thread is embarrassing
