Does anyone actually use this term when talking about city ? To me we are Manchester City.
Rags, haters and the rag media may use the former but no blue ever would IMO.

The only time I know 'man city' is used by City fans is the Mancini song! It's for southerners who think they know summat about us and clearly don't! We are beginning to be known world wide more and more by just 'City'. I always tell folk I'm a City fan and allow them to ask "Manchester City' which they invariably do! We are also getting away from the notion that you only need to say 'Manchester' when yer mean MANUre!

It always makes me think of Trevor Brooking waffing through his nose "Maaaaaan City". I'd always say Manchester City but I wouldn't be bothered by folks from elsewhere or new fans calling us Maaaaaan City. I suppose I'm the "don't think it matters really" camp.
