Man killed by his own XL Bully

Do they do S bullies, M bullies or L bullies?
From what I've gathered from reading into it. The variants of the American Bully breed, which has only been standardized since 2004, are in order of smallest to largest: Pocket, Classic, Standard and XL.

All American Bullies are classified and shown as Standard until they reach a year of age.

I don't think we should be confusing this breed with any other breeds, it almost looks like the UK version should be considered it's own variant because the figures on them over in the USA are nothing like what we've seen over here. The UK dog behaviour experts are also saying they've never seen anything like this before and some are refusing to work with the Bully XL completely.

Rotties and Staffies do often make great family pets if socialised properly and trained/neutered if necessary. I've seen great examples of both of those breeds which didn't need training at all, it was instinctual/in their nature. Although you shouldn't expect it as a given or ignore signs training is needed. A lot of it is to do with selective breeding, with some of those traits that lend to be being good family pets. All dogs with a powerful bite can be dangerous with the wrong owners but that's a separate issue IMO.

Yet there are a lot of staffie owners who would tell you that these Dogs are loyal kind and good with children, the statistics however are a bit on the damning side.

A quick google comes up with 45% of all Dog attacks attributed to Staffies, calling a Dog that size Denis or Marg and personalising it doesn't make it any less dangerous and the gen pop don't know if you're a good owner or not.
Tells you as much about the people who choose to own them as it does about the breed itself.
