I used to get comics but had nothing since I was about 11/12.
One story I do remember was when there was a Superman robot(s) which sounds bizarre, I don't know if he made them cos he had to take care of some other galaxy business or what but I can't find anything on the internet about it but I remember it was jaw dropping crazy shit (well for a 10 yr old).

Anyone know the story?? Would they know in that shop on Oldham Street thinks its Forbiden Planet they seem to have loads of comics downstairs but last time I was there was about 3 years ago.

The Superman Robots of Earth-One dimension possessed the same set of abilities as Superboy and later Superman. This power set included: flight, super-strength, super-speed, invulnerability, heat vision and heightened senses, though usually all at lower power levels than Superman himself to ensure, that if needed, Superman could overwhelm the robots. Superman installed several failsafe programs inside of certain robots, to keep them from malfunctioning or developing independent thought. Occasionally however, one of the robots (ex. Ajax) would defy his master, and Superman would have to resort to drastic measures in order to safeguard the immediate environment. Although the robots demonstrated the same remarkable abilities as Superman, they were never his equal in terms of strength or speed. In times of crisis, Superman made certain that he could always deactivate a renegade robot should the need arise.

Hey I'm 40 and me and my 12 year old lad absolutely cannot wait for this film. I'll never get tired of super hero's even if im 80. I can't understand people who don't like stories of the extraordinary tbh.

Next weekend it gets it's release here and i'll be at the first screening as long as the cinema bans all annoying shits.
