Man of Steel

It kept a tempo even when explaining his past etc, very few stuttery moments in the flow of the film.

I liked the action but agree to the extent that it could have done with some super slo-mo detailed bits.

I just enjoyed the huge screen, real3d and nice cinema along with a well paced action flick that didn't slow awkwardly.

Also Zod's lady soldier person is hot as fuck and i would break a mountain just to sit down where her arse has been.

No wories, cheers,it appears we just wanted something different from the film, fortunately for you,you got it!

BTW,if you havent seen the latest Star Trek, don't delay,a brilliant film.

That's my trick i have taught my head to stop thinking what i wanted from films as i did it with transformers and i was well pissed off.
I now expect the worst (superman 2006 in this case) and then anything more is a bonus.
It was hard not to get giddy though.
I hated the human stuff in it, i wanted 2 hours of robots knocking 10 shades out of each other.

Star Trek was brilliant, i though cummer...whatever the baddies name is, was brilliant.
The first one was brilliant

Can't see it being beaten for film of the year for me.

It's a strange one, I like Superman far more than Batman, but the Batman films are better.

Saw it today,it was ok,barely a superman film though.did anyone even mention metropolis, don't think so.6/10.Star Trek Into Darkness was so much better.

I think the ending setup the next film to be a bit more familiar possibly.

I've heard very good things about it. I'm going to see it tomorrow and I'm very excited to see it.

I ended up with 6 pairs of 3d glasses due to getting a set free with each kryptonite cocktail you ordered.

I must be superman because it compromised myself pretty well :D

I just need to see it again to take all that action in again properly.

I loved it but that said i am 30 now and have waited since a kid for a good remake so may be bias.

Anyone know if they are making another ?

Yep they have pretty much announced the second even if not officially given the green light. A chance that the worlds finest I.e a Bat and Supes team up will follow that with the new version Batman.

DC are hoping that this will kick start the DC Universe something akin to what Marvel are doing with their characters. If all goes to plan expect to see the likes of Wonder Woman and The Flash movies followed by a full blown Justice League. With at least David Goyer and possibly Chris Nolan in all likely hood involved in the broad vision something akin to what Joss Wheadon is doing with the Avengers.

Wont be watching it why can't they just leave the old films alone and think of something new it's just garbage repeats of batman, superman and hulk it's ridiculous is this what the film industry has become?

Yep, the re-make, sorry "reboot" due to lack of original writing/imagination/conservative film studios.
Film will eat itself.
There was a good Superman film made in 2006; not that long ago.

Went to see it as a Father's Day out. Feck me the tickets were pricy, glad I brought our 3d glasses along. £31 for the three of us.
The film was ok not much comedy action. Maybe shoulda watched star treck.

That is exactly what they wanted to do with the new franchise they said.
No shiny happy superman but that said he is not a very moody sod a la wolverine.

They were waiting to see what sort of money/reception it gets and by the look of it I hunk it will definetley be a green light, also a Justice League film will be made on the back of this but don't know who will play Batman.

Defo want to see Wolverine.

I had heard the film was a darker take on superman.

These films always start off so great, nice and slow with a dark edge ... then all of a sudden a baddie appears and theres explosions, machines, gun fire and endless fights which bore the shit out of me

Was I close ?

I tilt my cap to anyone who can drink booze at the cinema, I personally would be up every 5 minutes for a piss. But yeah, the film was alright, fight scene was a bit much.

No.

In one scene the Gallaghers wanked off the whole West Ham squad and they spunked up the ghost of Bobby Moore.

Your loss.
