Fernandinho was his usual collosal self but fuck me, Bilva was off the fucking scale tonight.

Like a coked up NDJ with actual football ability.

Warrior.

Love it :)
There was actually one tackle on I think Mane in the game that made me think of Nige at the time, perfect high risk, high reward sliding tackle that came away with the ball and flattened the ****.

Fernandinho was superhuman. Bernie not far behind. Quality from Sergio. Dave a bit out of sorts, Sterling busy and great pass for the winner, but if he’d run the ball into Robertson’s shins once more I think I’d have screamed. Leroy a huge threat. Great stuff all round. Stick it up your arse Milner

I thought Bernardo shaded MotM.

Don't normally bother with these votes, but Bernardo was so brilliant I've had to vote for him. Work rate alone was immense, but combined with silky skills and a willingness to get stuck into the opposition, that performance was unreal.

Stones was quality too. Totally unflappable
Not so sure about that one, flapped a bit with the clearance that Ederson was about to grab, and played a hospital pass to Vinny that could have led to him being sent off. Apart from that, he had a great game.

Dinho for me. It was pretty much a perfect game from the moment he slammed into Robertson.

It was a close run thing with Bernardo. He played like a supporter would, if that supporter had the technical ability of Merlin and the fitness of Mo Farah! His desire to disrupt and create was incredible!

Bernardo was superb all game. He didn't stop working and breaking up their play, which is a side of his game we're perhaps not that familiar with. However, Fernandinho had the best game I have seen him have, possibly the best he's ever had, and he was the main difference between the two sides; totally dominating their midfield and putting us on the front foot on so many occasions. His was a truly phenomenal performance and the worthy recipient of the MOTM award by so many sports journo's, and mine too.
