Foden was great but Mahrez is playing his best football since signing for City. Two superbly well taken goals and a rebound off the post that led to a third.

normal game it would be foden, but giving it mahrez for the two gem goals he made and finished perfect. He also was a menace down that side. Play like this all the time please and hands off madrid ! Last few games his dribbling skills are second to nun !

foden, his work rate was first class. He kept going and going, very unlucky not to score. I do feel this team would have achieved far more last sunday.

He's had quiet games because he hasn't started!

Since playing Liverpool where he stole the show we've had:

Swansea away - came off the bench in 66th minute
Spurs - played the full game
Everton - played the full game and scored
Arsenal - Benched
Monchengladbach - played 80 mins
West Ham - came off the bench in the 65th minute
Wolves - Benched
United - came off the bench in the 71st minute
Saints - played the full game and got two assists

I think it's fair to say it's hard to have a big impact when that is the run of games you've been offered. Pep is resting him for the business end of the season.

Well Pep is on record that it is our best team from here until it is won !

However teams performance was sloppy. Laporte however soft the penalty was, he shud’ve reacted quicker. And Walker needs to know he is no Cancelo. So stop back heeling. Its these steamy runs foreward where he’s good at. Stick to that.
