Agree and if the mood on Bluemoon is reflected across our fanbase then Joorabchian willl realise he has well and truly f*cked up. I'm sure he was hoping that we would whip ourselves up into a frenzy against the club and the manager but this doesn't appear to be happening, therefore they are in a weak bargaining position.

I like the way the thinking is going on here. Good though he is, if he wants away then lets just say "thanks and adios" and move on. No point getting stressed. No point getting all petulent and vicious like our neighbours did when embarassing themselves over Rooney.

Main thing is to stand behind the manager and the club. MCFC will not be "Roonied". MCFC are better than that.

I love our fans, just look at the contrast between us and the scum fans when Shrek tried to fuck the club over. I really think that Tevez and his agent are trying to squeeze the club for more money and if Tevez has any nounce about him he will realise he has made a mistake, I mean look at how well he has been treated by this club, compasionate leave left right and centre, what other club would do the same? However if he is on his wayI am actually looking forward to January, big singings to come, bring it on!

He's great on the pitch, but too often his work is undone by his lack of professionalism.

I would welcome him back if he changes his mind because, as is my understanding, he wants to leave for the right reasons. But irreplaceable he is not. I reckon his move away would accommodate the signing of other great strikers such as Dzeko, Aguero, Torres and Alan.


Edit: Looks like we won't be getting one top name.

I totally 100% agree with this. Cards on the table I am not even slightly surprised this has happened. I cant really see why any other city fan would be he has been making noises about leaving pretty much since he signed. Tevez has had 3 clubs in england in 4 season and they were joking on Five live that he never stays anywhere longer than 2 seasons.

Yes it is a huge blow. He is by far our best player and the team is built around him. Yes it will be nearly impossible to replace 39 goals from 60 games with one player.

BUT if Tevez and Adebayor (+ Jo and RSC for that matter) left in January and were repalced with Dzeko, Benzema and Carrol would it be the end of the end of the world ?

I dont think so.

All those players would get hatfuls of goals in that city side. None of those players will get 40 goals in 60 games on their own but collectively they would get a similar return I am sure.

And maybe just maybe they would actually want to play for us, keep their mouths shut, respect the manager and fans and get on with the job at hand.

All of those targets are possible even in January. Morinho was near enough falling over himself to swap Benzema for Ade in the summer. When you look at some of their cast offs, VDV, Snider etc there are some rich pickings to be had in the Real bargain basement.

DZeko wants out, Juve cant sign him at the moment. Anyone that offers £35 millionc an have him. As for Carrol, Fatley would sell his own wife and kids for the right money. £20 million would have him in the city shirt no doubt about it.

if he chooses to go, so be it...i would be more worried if vinnie put a request in.
players come and go,tevez is no different.
will be gutted if he does go,but not surprised..dont think it will be january,probably summer

Agree with the OP and the other positive posts on this thread. We have to stay positive, yes Carlos Tevez is a fantastic player and one of our most talented at the club but no player is bigger than this club. If he wants to leave then his performances will suffer anyway even if we do refuse him a transfer. We have the money to buy a replacement, there are other players in the World that can get us the goals that Tevez got for us. Sorry Carlos, if you want to be with your family in Argentina then fair enough, we'll miss you but you will be forgetten in this fickle game as soon as we get a replacement.

I actually think it will be on a par to when we lost Kinky. Carlos is awesome and I dont think there is any player in the world never mind the premiership who could replace him. He is the only player in the premiership in the running for player of the season, PFA,PPA all of them.........................just my thoughts
