Managed to find an update on the proposed One Heritage tower - 55 stories - Greengate.

The One Heritage tower proposals has been crawling along for years.

Last October One Heritage appointed Midgard to construct the tower. Construction still hasn’t started.

Place North West

Listed developer One Heritage has appointed Midgard to construct what would be the city’s tallest tower after failing to agree a way forward with Laing O’Rourke.

More CGI’s via the link.

Pre-construction service agreement with a principal contractor on both One Victoria and One Heritage tower to provide cost certainty prior to committing contractually to the construction works on these two projects.(or words to that effect)

That’s a stunner!

Tim Groom Architects

One of the best Architects in Manchester. There work is superb! https://timgroomarchitects.com/index/ (I wish more of the big Manchester based property developers would use them)

The changing face of Manchester. We're proud to be involved in this great city!

Thank you to VU.CITY for allowing us to use some of their CGI's highlighting The Future of Manchester City Centre.

Piling work is continuing at our Lomax Street site in Piccadilly Manchester. This project will see the creation of a mix of one and two bedroom apartments, including private balconies.

It is!
Sadly it’s been crawling along for years and continues to do so.
Hopefully One Heritage tower will rise one day, but I still have my doubts about that.
There have been some tweaks to the design since those CGI’s were released. Probably cost cutting measures.

Very nearly secured the funding for this. Aren't they going in for planning for an adjacent tower? the whole Mcr/Salford border is just nuts - hardly any plots left between Chapel St & Trinity Way.

Once complete, Renaker’s Greengate masterplan will feature three towers of 52, 43, and 41 storeys and more than 1,500 apartments.

My picture from early November. The build and cladding is further along now.

Bankside at Colliers Yard - 43 stories - Greengate

Under construction. The concrete core is now well above the hoardings.

Isn't Liverpool's lack of tall buildings due the World Heritage status - 3 Graces, Albert Docks, etc.?
Ovatus I & II just sold, which will be adjacent to those on the right of this picture.
There were claims the heritage status was holding back Liverpool's progress. As a city, there are some stunning buildings in Liverpool city centre - one of my clients owned a couple of Grade II* listed buildings, of which one was truly magnificent - India Buildings.

Being full of scousers probably holds it back more ;-)
