Manchester Airport police assault trial | Man found guilty of assaulting two female police officers

‘The jury was unable to reach verdicts on allegations that Amaaz and his brother, Muhammad Ahmed, 26, assaulted PC Zachary Marsden causing actual bodily harm.’

There’s literal video evidence of it. How on earth have they come to this conclusion?

Does this mean the other **** might have gotten away with it?

A retrial ?
if the CPS did not submit it to court properly or worded the charges properly, that is the only way this charge is a no verdict, Video of the crime is clear, so it's got to be in the write-up of the charge

The cynic in me says they’re trying to appease people so not to cause a disturbance.

You can bet that the Asian radicals will be gathering outside Rochdale police station with their placards about racist GMP etc. ( just like they did when the whole incident happened and before any of the CCTV evidence was known about).
Just think if that video hadn’t had been leaked they would have got away with it and the police accused of brutality.

The only people to blame here are the jurors .. not the CPS etc. That's the problem with jury trials. One really does not know what prejudices they bring into the jury room
That seems unlikely given that they just found him guilty on all other charges.

We aren’t privy to the full evidence and defence that was given in court, so we can only guess as why that particular charge wasn’t proven.

Still, it gives people something to shout about until he’s given an unduly light sentence.

Every cloud.
