Really feel kind of sick to my stomach about this. Mancini can lead us to another trophy and here we are talking about his potential successor... Lock it up until the end of season.

Forza Mancini!!!

May very well be, but i believe alot of city fans me included, just dont think its worth is to fire the man who made us who we are, who has given us trophies every season and will finish second this year when we have had fuck know how many injuries, remember we only player our first eleven twice this year. I would be ashamed if we were to thank him by kick him out. I think the word is loyalty.

You blame Garcia, Maicon and Sinclair on Mancini? the first two maybe was Mancinis third or even fourth choice (we know which players he wanted) Mancini have repeatadly critizied MarWood for last summer transfer window.
PS.
Rowell will turn out an excellent signing.

didn't say anything of the sort.

And Rodwell is a waste of space.

Your a fool

good at running about, passing sideways and fairly inaccurately and missing countless simple opportunities.

But we're playing so poorly that that's bizarrely enough to win MOTM, equivalent to the Pearce era really, guy who works hardest wins MOTM, quality doesn't matter.

FFS please don't lock it. Bluemoon is a great forum because it ISN'T like fucking RAWK

To anyone who wants to lock it: Just don't click on the thread. Problem solved.

I for one am just so sick of all the media negativity that surrounds our club and the threads created as a result of it. We are 48 hours away from a cup final why can't we just enjoy that.....come on City.

Your describing Garcia, not Rodwell. Your also comparing Rodwell to Barton when he's 3 times as good. Only his injuries let him down.

no his inability to tackle, pass, shoot and head particularly in the penalty area is what let's him down.

His injuries allow players who can do some of those things into the team and they are more prone to sticking one of the three/four simple chances they may get in the net and help our cause to win games instead of inhibiting it.

When he learns how to do those things and regularly then I'll give him the credit and accept that as justifying the ridiculous hype he gets off blues because he's young, English and runs about a lot.

When he does more than that I'll say fair play and give him the credit he deserves, but I'm not going to jump on the bandwagon when he's done precisely fuck all.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. IMO the most important thing is what will be drank prior to the match on Sat :).

Our players seem focused and professional enough to win the FA Cup even if it is true. If Mancini does go at the end of the season he will be part of our history books and and not forgotten, plus he will not be out of pocket. As for Pellegrini , if appointed, the pressure will be the same as Mancini next season.

Nobody in the UK is reporting though, which no matter what you say about our print media, speaks volumes.

Sources and reports for this story are scarce.

Does anyone really think that the club would allow for any such information to be leaked 48 hours before our biggest game of the season? Unless of course, it's bollocks...

Chilean media reported this over a month ago
Is Chile in the UK?

And if it all was agreed a month ago, Chilean media wouldn't be the only one's reporting it.
How thick are you honestly? No journalist in the UK has contacts outside the UK and all the stories coming out about Pellegrini and City are from Spain where the journalists there have contacts with managers and their agents. Most don't want Mancini sacked and that's fine and their reasons are fine but a lot have to deal with being emotionally attached to him for bringing this club their first premier league title in as many years.

Its Txiki and Sorrianos job to see past all that and look to the future. If they don't believe that Mancini is the best option for the club going forward than he'll be gone sooner or later and by the reports a lot sooner than most would like.

You people are blinded by emotion but for the record I'd give Mancini another go at it next season.

Obvious irony is obvious. It's opinions passed off as facts, such as I've highlighted, that strengthen rumours..

The club would not give Mancini a 5 year deal and then seek to replace him after one. Txiki and Soriano would have been sounded out by the board before they offered Mancini a contract, it's not something you change on the spur of the moment after giving out a contract as important and as big as that.

Also, Chile isn't Spain.

I've been found out ;). In all seriousness though I'd be hard pressed to believe his contract doesn't have a reasonable get out clause. Contracts are made to be broken especially in football

To be fair I am still waiting for someone like castles or di marzio or a reputable english journo to shed some light on all this as the papers in Spain have as much of an agenda as the tabloids do
