I can't believe the Cup Final is only 48 hours away and we are discussing this shite started by the Rag media.

Even if this all proves to be true, surely there is a better time (say 3 weeks time) we can discuss it to death!!

Excuse me but I'm not the rag media kthnxbye

-- Fri May 10, 2013 9:11 am --

The only place ive heard Pellegrini is taking over in the summer is here on this site its a absolute disgrace to be talking about Mancini like this the guy deserves more respect from so called city fans. Ive supported city since 1965 been through a lot of bad times since the great Joe Mercer left the club and we have had lots of sh-t managers since then i recall Frizzel, Mcneil, Bond, Benson, Clarke, Pearce, Ball,Neal,Coppell, just a few names to jog your memory. Mancini has delivered what we have craved for for over 40years silverware and on the eve of possibly adding another trophy to our cupboard you so called fans are calling for him to be sacked your a fcking disgrace to this great club and we dont need so called fans like this, go support that arrogant lot at the swamp you will feel at home over there. We have no divine right to win all the trophies on offer and some are harder to win than others so give Mancini time and he will deliver, i dont want to go back down the road of hiring and firing and im sure our fantastic owners are men of integrity, respect and honour will take this great club to the very top, patience is the key, i will be at wembley screaming my lungs out for city and Mancini wanna join me rant over.
To be fair it's quite an old rumour whilst I nearly agree with you do remember this is a forum for debate and discussion

Duccy with his usual common sense ftw xx

It would be very easy for City to put all these rumours and 'negativity' to bed.For some reason they have chose not to..

get real, do you expect City to formally comment every time there is a negative media story about us or a negative post in here - fucks sake, they would have a full time press officer employed just dealing with your posts

I don't recall City denying that Mourinho was arriving as rumoured but he's taking a fucking long while to get here!

The funny thing about these Mancini hateing blues is you never meet them in your social or work life, they just exist on bluemoon

How many times do people have to be told that it's not about hating Mancini. I like Mancini a lot. I was for Mancini in at least six months before he joined the club so why would I want to hate him or be in any way pleased to conclude that we might just be better off if he moved on now?

Emotionally, I'm a Mancini Inner but I do not believe that sentiment should play any part in deciding who should manage MCFC: that is one of the most high profile, best paid jobs in the country and with that comes a commensurate requirement to deliver to a very high standard. The arguments as to whether he is meeting those exacting standards, number one, in my mind, simply being getting the very best out of his squad. have gone round and round and whatever your conclusion on them, there is an inescapable fact that Bobby might himself choose to move on and City may be forced to find the best, genuinely available, person to replace him.

And "yes", I will be singing his name tomorrow at Wembley, loud, proud and, hopefully, victoriously.

No-one hates him. You're an idiot if you actually believe that. We just happen to have a different opinion on how the club should move foward. And FWIW, I'd rather keep him than appoint Pellegrini. I don't see him as an upgrade to what we already have.

Sam663, sorry i might have missed your post.

Which of our kids deserve more of a chance and how often have you seen them play?

Watched 2 games during my stay there , and Razak got substituted in both of these matches , and was pretty much certain that he could claim a place in Frankfurt's first team (it's just an opinion). Against West Brom it came as a shock to me that he still gets only 4-5 minutes to display his talent. His progress has been stagnated , may be attitude problems ? I don't know.
He has Yaya, Barry, Rodwell, Garcia and arguably Milner in front of him, it's not that hard to comprehend why he's not playing.

He's also not good enough!

too hurried for me... no composure, no finesse... he's a decent run about... A young Scott parker

It was started by a Spanish football website.
The first journo to print the pellegrini link was Duncan Castles, back in January.
and as we all know Duncan is invariably 100% correct

Just remind us all again. What age is he ?? OK so therefore he has a lot of years in front of him to mature into a very good player.Just give the lad a fucking break.

When Soriano talked of Mancini being a champion it was reported as the dreaded vote of confidence. No value responding to every bit of gossip on the managers position, and the club rarely bother to.

I'm not sure it was reported as that? But I may have missed it.

I don't see why City haven't put something out completely rubbishing the rumours. Nothing to lose, if they plan on keeping Mancini. We don't have to respond to every bit of gossip by any means, but just a blanket statement to say that Mancini is going nowhere, if true, doesn't hurt anyone...

This may well happen at the end of the season, as they perhaps don't want to undermine anyone during the season, or destabilise us just before the final...?

It doesn't need to be to every piece of gossip, but we could easily have rubbished the rumours, if he was staying.
