He has Yaya, Barry, Rodwell, Garcia and arguably Milner in front of him, it's not that hard to comprehend why he's not playing.

He's also not good enough!

too hurried for me... no composure, no finesse... he's a decent run about... A young Scott parker

Just remind us all again. What age is he ?? OK so therefore he has a lot of years in front of him to mature into a very good player.Just give the lad a fucking break.

that's true but at the moment he is like a young scott parker but with less ability, he might go on to be a great player but he's not great at the moment.

rodwell is streets ahead.

He's 21 in November... whats that got to do with it?

Not saying he's crap mate.. just not good enough to break into our team due to the reasons I've given... that is a fact at this moment in time.

As I said, a young Scott Parker type of player... will definitely make a good living from the game just not here. In my opinion of course!

In my humble opinion this thread has run it's course and needs to be locked by the mods.

I can't believe the Cup Final is only 48 hours away and we are discussing this shite started by the Rag media.

Even if this all proves to be true, surely there is a better time (say 3 weeks time) we can discuss it to death!!
It was started by a Spanish football website.
The first journo to print the pellegrini link was Duncan castles, back in January.

Pasted it in your Mancini Out scrapbook eh? ;)

and as we all know Duncan is invariably 100% correct

That story was 100% correct at that time. The stumbling block was Balotelli wouldn't go to PSG so we couldn't do the deal in the end.

But if Castles is saying we were talking to Pellegrini in January then I'm not sure that's correct.

Amazes me that people with seemingly nothing better to do all day than trade gossip on a football forum claim to be privy to the inside details of multi million pound international business deals.

Walter Mitty is alive and well

I see why you like Duncan
"Alongside a potential change of manager Roberto Mancini – now regarded in football circles as “a dead man walking” - Soriano and Begiristain are working on adding an elite player to City's first team and strengthening it in two further positions. Scouting staff have been instructed to focus on strikers, wingers and central defenders."

but why do you suppose he's right?

Bobby to Monaco is an absolute certainty if this rumour is true.

Odds haven't budged and I really can't see Bob going after the FA Cup. Next summer is what I heard, one things for sure. Unlike players, nobody has a solid source on managers.

Understand that's what you've heard- and if you have no reason to disbelieve your source, then fine.

But that just makes no football sense whatsoever.

If he knows he is going, then how is he meant to operate next season- motivate himself and the players.

I knwo Txiki will have control over purchases, but the manager will have a say regardless. If Mancini is going next season, what players do we look at.

It just seems a strange situation for it to be decided that he is going the season after next.
